Needle and Thread

Valentine's Day is slowly approaching and I have a new fancy... embroidery! Who loves Missouri? I do!!! And I expressed my love with my needle and thread.

Missouri, how do I love thee? Let me count the stitches!

Just Finished Reading:
~ The Lock Artist - This was a fast read... an entertaining book but not much deeper than that.
~The Witch of Blackbird Pond - a short paperback from the 70s set in the 1700s. It was a fun read.
~ The House Keeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa - who knew mathematics could be so poetic and lovely?
~ The Crowning Glory of Calla Lily Ponder - a wonderful tearjerker
~ Hector and the Search for Happiness - a super quick and interesting read
~ The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs - a quick read that will have you curious and invested in the characters
~ The Women's Room by Marilyn French - a very good, long read

~ The Maytrees by Annie Dillard - A slower paced and poetic investigation into the nature of Love

~ There's a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to HELL by Laurie Notaro -This book is fun and will have you giggling to yourself

~ O'Pioneer by Willa Cather -This one made me cry physical tears...loved it!
